+ boons add points to every word (Tithe, Vowel merchant, Greenhouse). × boons multiply the whole score (Double down, Crescendo, Overclock). Early in a run take + boons; once you have a few, a single × boon is worth more than any of them. Par is 550.
Stacking rules
- Duplicates stack. Two Greenhouses make greens pay 50 instead of 35. Two Collectors multiply rarity by 2.25.
- Multipliers multiply. Double down (×2) with Crescendo at ×1.4 and Overclock (×1.2 on top of every multiplier) is ×3.4 before stakes and streaks.
- Some grow. Tithe, Snowball, Crescendo and Compound interest get stronger every round you hold them, so they are worth most when taken early.
- Pick boons copy others. Mirror makes your next pick count twice, Encore repeats your last boon, Buffet gives you all three from the next offer.
Combinations that break the score
| Combo | What happens | Catch |
|---|---|---|
| Mirror → Double down | ×4 on every word for the rest of the run | Each copy costs 12 seconds: 6-second clocks |
| Crescendo early | ×1.1, then ×1.2, ×1.3… every round; huge in endless | Weak for the first two rounds |
| Gambler + Collector | Rare words ×1.5 on boosted rarity | Common words are halved |
| Ladder + Full house | Greens climb 40, 55, 70… per tile | Needs you to steer toward the hidden Wordle |
| Buffet → anything | Three boons for one pick | Epic, so it rarely shows up |

How the base score works before boons (rarity tiers, Wordle tiles, streaks and stakes) is covered in how rarity scoring works; why runs and boons make it a roguelike is in word roguelike games.
Questions people ask
How many boons are there in Wordillion?
43: 14 common, 11 uncommon, 12 rare and 6 epic.
Do duplicate boons stack?
Yes. Point bonuses add, multipliers multiply, and time penalties add up, so two Double downs are ×4 with clocks 24 seconds shorter.
What is the best boon?
In a normal five-round run, an early Double down or Crescendo. In endless, Crescendo and Compound interest, because they keep growing every round.
